Tattini Boots have the first patented ventilation system on riding footwear...
Outer air gets into the boot and it reaches the inner part of the bottom through the holes on the sock. The pumping aeration system is composed of cells connected by pierced channels through which the air circulates. The foot movement compresses the pumping system: the air gets pushed into the cells and through the channels where it reaches a membrane valve and then exits from a hole in the rear of the heel of the boot. When the foot lifts up, the cells return to their normal position containing air again. The outgoing air pushes a tiny spring in the valve that activates a one-way membrane, which prevents any water entering the hole in the heel.
